Electric blankets - keep safe this winter
A simple check on your electric blanket, and other household appliances, could ensure you stay warm and safe this winter.
Norfolk County Council and the Electrical Safety Council are running events at various locations around Norfolk. There is electric blanket safety testing - for which appointments must be booked in advance - and also a ‘Keep warm and safe this winter’ information event, which anyone can come to, and offers free safety testing of small electrical appliances.
There will be a number of different information providers there: including Digital Switchover, NHS, Care and Repair, Community Alarms and Age UK.
