MVHA is offering free independent advice to help all its residents with their money and debt concerns. Residents can also learn how to budget and stay on top of their finances in meetings with CAB advisor Liz Hyam, who already has a proven track record of helping 370 MVHA residents deal with more than £300,000 of debt and get focused.
“The new year should be about starting fresh and looking forward,” says Liz. “Get help early for debt problems, they don’t go away by themselves. So, if you’re getting into trouble, act quickly and seek advice about how to deal with them.”
David Searle, managing director of MVHA, added: “With the financial downturn making things tighter every day, this time of year can really be tough. We want to make residents aware that there is independent, friendly and free support available. We are here for our residents and this service helps anyone who has questions about their finances and in particular people who are struggling.”
