Applying for a Merton Priory Homes home

Merton Priory Homes works in partnership with London Borough of Merton to allocate our homes. To get a Merton Priory Homes home you will have to apply to Merton Council to join their Housing Register.

The Housing Register does not necessarily work on a 'first come, first served' basis. There are certain groups of people who must always be given priority because of their particular circumstances. The law calls this 'reasonable preference'High Path20

Merton Council operates a Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme which means that you will be given the opportunity to bid for the home that you are interested in. Under the CBL scheme, all households are placed into priority bands depending on your personal circumstances. Upon receipt of your fully completed housing application, the council will write to you to let you know which band you are placed in and provide you with your PIN (Personal Identification Number) and User ID (Identification Number) that you need to bid for the home that you are interested in.

If you already have your PIN and User ID, you can click on Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme, to start your bidding.

Application forms are available from Merton Council Civic Centre and at our reception desk, The Grange, 1 Central Road, Morden, SM4 5PQ. You can apply from anywhere in the country to be on the Housing Register, but people with a local connection to the borough are given priority.
