Affordability
Circle will ensure that rents for our properties are set at levels that are affordable for existing tenants and those wishing to become our tenants. The level of rent charged will reflect our customer’s ability to pay.
The Group partners have adopted rent strategies that comply with the Government’s rent restructuring policy and the new Affordable Rent regime. Rent levels determined on all new developments and other properties acquired within the Group will comply with the rent strategies agreed by each individual Registered Provider (RP) in the Group.
Circle believes that affordability is the key driver around low cost home ownership developments. The Group has carried out research on average income levels and house price levels across all of its area of operation and tailored schemes to meet the needs of those individuals who are unable to access the housing market through purchasing their own home.
